CEO of Program for Troubled Teens Jailed for Embezzlement
The C.E.O. of a Christian non-profit organization sits in the Shasta County Jail, accused of embezzling more than a quarter million dollars.
58-year-old Herbert Ray "Skip" Tyler of Redding was arrested Thursday afternoon around 5:30 on charges of embezzlement, grand theft, criminal threats and intimidation of a witness.
Triple-R Boys Ranch
He's the C.E.O. of the Triple-R Boys Ranch serving troubled teens. The investigation started in early August after the board of directors discovered the missing money.
Investigators say Tyler took $274,000 in property and funds.
