Troopers to host 'Win a Friend' camp for at-risk youth
The Louisiana State Police will host a summer camp called "Win-A-Friend" this year, targeting at-risk children who might otherwise be unable to attend summer camp.
Troopers will lead campers in various activities like swimming, boating and arts and crafts during six sessions:
n June 6-10 is a girls camp with campers selected from around the state.
n June 13-17 is for boys selected by Troops L and B.
n June 20-24 is for boys selected by Troops I and E.
n June 27-July 1 is for boys selected by Troops C and D.
n July 11-15 is for boys selected by Troops F and G.
n July 18-22 is for boys selected by Troop A and headquarters.
